
Admission & Registration Requirements
Application Process Overview
The F.R.C.A. Institute of Chaplaincy maintains structured admission standards to ensure that all candidates demonstrate the character, integrity, and spiritual maturity necessary for chaplaincy formation. Admission is granted upon satisfactory completion of the following requirements:
1. Submission of Required Documentation
Applicants must submit a complete admissions packet containing:
- Three (3) Letters of Recommendation. Letters must attest to the applicant’s character, leadership capacity, and suitability for chaplaincy training.
- One (1) Pastoral Letter of Recommendation (Must be provided by a licensed or ordained pastor or recognized spiritual leader). The letter should affirm the applicant’s spiritual standing, church involvement, and ministerial readiness.
- Proof of Government-Issued Identification (A clear copy of a valid State Identification Card or Passport).
All documentation must be current, signed, and submitted in legible format. Please note: Incomplete application packets will delay review and processing.
2. Application Review & Institutional Evaluation
Upon receipt of all required documentation, the Admissions Committee will:
- Verify authenticity of submitted materials
- Evaluate character and ministerial references
- Assess applicant readiness for structured chaplaincy formation
Applicants may be contacted for clarification or additional information if necessary.
3. Payment of Registration Fee
A $75.00 non-refundable registration fee is required to initiate formal enrollment processing.
- Payment confirms the applicant’s intent to enroll.
- Registration fees are non-transferable and non-refundable.
Enrollment is not considered official until payment has been received and processed.
4. Official Enrollment Confirmation
Applicants who successfully meet all admissions criteria will receive:
- Written confirmation of acceptance
- Orientation materials
- Course schedule and institutional guidelines
